Questions to ask the design studio
- What exactly is included as standard, and can I see it?
- Are these prices locked, and until when?
- What is the deadline for changes, and what does a late change cost?
- When are upgrades paid: at signing the order, in instalments or at closing?
- Can any upgrade be added to the purchase price, and will my lender finance it?
- Which changes would affect the warranty or need a permit?
- Can I take sample boards or photos home?
- Which items can I install myself after closing without voiding the warranty?
- Is HST included in the upgrade prices?
