HST on a New Build
Ontario builders advertise prices with HST in and the standard rebate already assigned to them. This shows the consideration underneath, the number that drives your deposit percentages and the rebate math, then applies the standard rebate and the first-time buyer rebate that took effect in 2026: the full 13% on the first $1,000,000 of consideration, tapering to nothing at $1,500,000.
